Shelley is a small friendly bridge club with 40+ members. We meet once a week on Wednesday evenings at 7.00 pm for a duplicate pairs event. The venue is Shelley Village Hall, Huddersfield Rd, Shelley, Huddersfield HD8 8HE. See map for location details.
We are always looking to welcome new members, and are happy to see visitors. The Hall has its own car park, and there are good facilities for wheelchair users. Due to our small size we are not really suitable for beginners, and unfortunately we don't have any teaching facilities.
The Club enters a team in the YCBA Yorkshire League.

About Shelley
Shelley is a small Yorkshire village on the edge of the Pennines about 700ft above sea level with magnificent views over the surrounding countryside.
We are very much in the country but reasonably close to civilisation. Huddersfield is 6 miles away, Wakefield 12 miles, Barnsley 10 miles and Holmfirth which is the “Last of the Summer Wine” town is a mere 5 miles. In fact Shelley has appeared scores of times on the programme but always way off in the background.
And if you still don’t know where we are, look for the Emley TV mast for that is only a mile away and dominates the view to our North East
